Maccabi leading the amateur league

First match of Amateur Football League on Saturday 22nd was between Zapadnaya Granica and GZ.  
It was hard to find the favourite among the teams as both had chances during the game. The only goal in the match was scored in the middle of the first half after corner served by Sergei Sergejev and Juri Burdutsenko nailed the ball into the net from two meters.
Zapadnaya Granica had a good chance to equalize, but post saved GZ team.
In the second half, 8 minutes before the final whistle Denis Baranov (GZ) gets a red card and leaves the pitch. However, Zapadnaya Granica could not use the advantage of GZ playing in minority.
Sergei Sergejev (GZ) was named man of the match.

In the second match Maccabi played with Inter Talllinn and in the beginning looked quite uncertain. Inter used that factor and on 7th minute scored the first goal. But Maccabi did not give up and soon the return goals rained like hail into Inter Tallinn gate. By the middle of the second half the score was already 7:1 in favour of Maccabi.
Inter players hoped for miracle and were rewarded with Timo Lentzion goal in the last minute of the match.

Maccabi continue demonstrating excellent play and still leading the league.
