Tallinn Grand League opens new season: teams are invited to participate
News added: 04/30/2013 19:46The next tournament for amateur football teams will begin in May. Until 9th of May, you still have the opportunity to register your team.
What format and who can play? - Only amateur teams may play in the Tallinn Grand League. You can assemble a team of your own company, organization or register with those who play once a week just for fun.
- The participating teams are playing with each other in two rounds.
- Matches are played on half of a standard football field, 7 a side.
- Duration of one match 50 minutes (2 halfs of 25 minutes).
Why Tallinn Grand League? - Games served by experienced professional referees.- Each match will be followed with statistic data to determine best player at the end of season.
- At the end of the championship teams participate in the Tallinn Grand Cup.
- The winners of the Championship and the Cup will compete in the Super Cup match.
How much does it cost?
- Registration fee for participation in the league - 10 euro.
- The cost of a single game for the team - 25 euro.
When everything starts?
- Last day for registration in the Championship is 9th of May 2013. - The first league match will be played on 10th of May. - Teams that have registered at the last moment, will get a little leeway and will not play the next day.
Where can I get more information?
- Teams managers meeting will be held on 9th of May at Sports Event Management office at Vilmsi, 5, third floor, where league's format will finally be approved. Meeting is scheduled at 19:00.
