Belarusians trophy back
News added: 03/30/2010 12:40- The second phase of Football Nations Tournaments ended with Belarusians win over Ukraine in final.
Tatar players celebrated their victory back in January when they managed to beat the strong Belarus team that was the first also in Tallinn World Cup 2009.
Belarusians again returned leading positions. Winning two major victories during group stage and losing the third game to Ukrainians made to play off, where won over Italians (4:0), and then in final beats Ukraine in penalty shoots (3:1).
Interesting point is that in the final Nations Futsal tournament both teams met in final, however the fortune was again on Belarusian side.
Tatarstan got the III place of Nations Spring Cup beating Italy in decisive match – 2:0.
The Small Cup of the tournament went to Russian team that won Great Britain in small semi-final – 8:0, and then defeated Estonian team – 5:0.
Eight National teams have participated in second phase of Nations Football tournaments and got the following places:

3. Tatarstan
4. Italy
5. Russia (Small Cup)
6. Estonia
7. Turkey
8. Great Britain
The Top Scorer trophy went to Sergei (Russia). The MVP of the tournament becameOleg Goryachev (Belarus) and the Best Goalkeeper of the tournament became a multiple champion Roman Surmai (Belarus). The photos of the tournament are now available to view here.
