Skype lost first match

Estonian Corporate Championship of Football (ECC of Football 2010) started yesterday. Already 3 matches were played. Two in group A and one in Group B.

Skype 0:4 SAS Group A

Games between the two teams are always in particular interests of corporate sport fans. Victory of both teams in the first match is a kind of indicator of preparation for the tournament.

The last year finalist Skype, started with huge defeat due to absence of several key players that are on business trips.

Netlead 1:0 Swedbank Group B

Netlead, that arrived 4th last year started tournament with a difficult win.

Game seemed to be equal with sharp attacks from both sides. Only in the mid of second half David H Garcia assisted by Ivan Chistyakov could score the winning goal against new Swedbank goalkeeper Urmas Lõiv.

Swissotel 2:0 ERR Group B

The second match in Group A identified the second leader of the group – Swissotel that managed to defeat ERR.

From the first minutes Swissotel created many dangerous moments, however they either kept the ball too long or shot the Jabulani over the goal. Only on 13th minute captain Reivo Väljak scores a first match goal.

ERR had several chances to equalize, but without luck.

In the end of the match, ERR lost a ball after a corner, Swissotel doing an excellent counter-attack and scored the second match goal.

Losing to Swissotel, ERR player Dmitri Kulikov was named the man of the match.
