V. Zalmanov “pity that referee is not from Uruguay…”

Continuing Amateur league championship held two matches yesterday evening at Maarjamäe stadium.
In the first match Everton Tallinn played against stronger opponent – Bisbaccioni.
Openning the score in the first minute by forward Andrea Castelnovo it seemed that there would be a lot of goals scored during the match. The table showed only two by the end of first half. The second goal in the match was scored by Emanuel Meslet (Bisbaccioni). Everyone in Bisbaccioni team had a chance to score in the match experimenting in the attacks and distant shots. However those experiments only brought to the confident win.

Worth to note a brilliant attack from Everton’s side in the middle of second half where Siim Malva scored a goal assisted by captain Tõnis Kuusk.

Andrea Castelnovo was marked as most valuable player in the match for Bisbaccioni and Tõnis Kuusk (Everton Tallinn) who confidently played as goalkeeper in the first half and took a forward position in the second.  

 

In the second match of the evening Zapadnaya Granica managed to beat Amigos. Match was expected to be interesting due to equal chance for victory and turned to be so.

First goal was scored by Zapadnaya Granica team when Anton Moisejenko gives a long pass over the defender to his team mate Stanislav Rõba that cold blooded tured the opportunity into goal. Both teams had equal chances to score more keeping the goalkeepers under preasure. However the score on the table was still 1:0 in Zapadnaya Granica favour.

The second goal in the match reminded the moment of 1/8 World Cup Match between England and Germany when Frank Lampard ratted the bar, and it bounced down, and it went well past the line, but uruguanian referee Jorge Larrionda did not give the goal. The goal remaker in Amateur league was newcomer of Zapadnaya Granica Aleksandr Lamonov and annoyed Vjacheslav Zalmanov lamented: “pity that the referee is not from Uruguay…”.

The second conceded goal gave attacking spirit to Amigos team and kept their opponents in defense up until the end of the match. By the 30th minute Andrei Gorbach (Amigos) reduces the lag. But neither the time and sport lack were missing in the match for Amigos players.
Zapadnaya Granica kept the score 2:1 and get one of their important victory over Amigos.
Andrei Gorbach named the MVP of the match from Amigos side and new goalkeeper of Zapadnaya Granica Viktor Haritonovich earned his first MVP title in his first match.
