Last matches of first round and game length increase.

The match on Monday between Kalev Vesi and Zapadnaya Granica ended with a draw. Tomas Kaasik (Kalev Vesi) opened a score on 11th minute by a long distance shot. The goalkeeper of ZG Viktor Haritonovich hesitated and the ball rolled over the back right into the goal. Few minutes after ZG equalized with an effort of Kirill Kalinin scored from sharp angle.
After the goal of Aleksandr Savchenko, Kalev Vesi again moves ahead in the second half, but ZG responds quickly. Referee assigned free kick for a dangerous play and Kirill Kalinin scores a second goal assisted by Andrei Petrov. Both teams had chances to increase the score, but the score remained 2:2 thanks to goalkeeper’s efforts.  

Evening ended with a match between Everton Tallinn and Maccabi. The leaders played against outsiders and match ended obviously 9:1 in Maccabi favour.
First ten minutes Everton could keep up the score 0:0, but after Maccabi team became unstoppable especially Sergei Balbutski who scored four goals for every taste. Two goals were even scored by a goalkeeper Dmitri Gretsani who sometimes was coming out of the goal leading his attacking team.
Siim Malva miraculously scored one goal for Everton prestige and named MVP of his team in the match. Sergei Balbutski was named MVP in Maccabi.      

The first Tuesday match opened teams from the bottom of the league standings: Everton Tallinn and FC Liikuri. Suddenly, Everton Tallinn looked much more organized in defense. After conceding a lot of goals from almost every team in this match they conceded only two.
On the fourth minute FC Liikuri end the attack with a first goal scored by Konstantin Lunev and by the end of the first half Denis Liik scores the last goal of the match. Both goals were assisted by Pavel Hodossov the MVP of FC Liikuri team in the match.
Mihkel Annus who fought for every match was named MVP in Everton Tallinn team.

After poor results in the last matches AME have invited two new players and significantly increased their power before the match against GZ.
At the 18th minute AME newcomer Andrei Kossarjev opened the score and in the second half recovered from injury Andrei Churikov scores the second goal in the match. There could be more goals, but GZ goalkeeper Anton Bzhelenko made several great saves during the match.

The first round of Amateur Football League ends with the match between Zapadnaya Granica and Bisbaccioni today at 20:00 in Majaka stadium, but the result of the match will not affect the top of the standings.
Maccabi and Kalev Vesi are leading the table after the first round gained 20 points, GZ on the third place with one point below – 19.

The second round matches start already on Sarturday 10th of July. The length of the match increases to 2x30 minutes. Due to that the match fee increases from 350 eek to 425 per match.
