A rehearsal before big matches
News added: 02/25/2010 12:49- The key match of the Corporate Championship of Futsal on Monday between the teams of Group C – SEB and Maxima ended with warlike draw 1:1.
With the nice shot of Ivar Malm in second half ‘bankers’ responded on the goal of Aleksei Budõlin. Therefore, SEB secured a first place in the group and the way to the playoff for Maxima will depend on the last group game on Saturday 27th February with the match against Swissotel. Only victory needed for both teams.
The remaining 3 matches on Monday played in Group B. At first Swedbank lost to Nordea 1:3, but in the match against Skype Bugs, managed to draw 2:2, suffering 0:2 in first half. In the end of competition day, Police had a not an easy victory over Nordea 2:0.
As a result of these matches, the team of Police and the Marine Care secured their places in playoffs. Finishing third in a group, Nordea will compete for a place in the quarter finals through the knock out matches. Two best third place teams will get a tickets to quarter finals. Swedbank and Skype Bugs finished the tournament having fourth and fifth group places.
The 6th competition day with last group stage matches and knock out games for QF are taking place in Loo Sport Center on Saturday 27th February, starting at 12:15.
