Swissotel surprised everyone
News added: 03/08/2010 03:19- Thanks to Swissotel, the final day of the Estonian Corporate Championship of Futsal brought along some surprises.
The team that barely made it to the quarter-finals immediately managed to knockout the winner of group A – SAS team in penalty shootout – 5:3. Though during the match Swissotel was leading 2:0? But in the second half SAS managed to draw.
Half an hour later Swissotel nearly knocked out of the final the other favorite – SEB. “The bankers” made it well to the semi-finals, where an unexpected surprise has appeared. Swissotel ended the match with a draw, but the fortune was on SEB side this time, whose goalkeeper Jaak Raivo saved all three penalty shots.
With a confident win over Maxima, Police team becomes the second finalist of the championship.
