Sport is a big advantage

Good morning, Jana! You almost always come to the matches of your team, even not playing. Where do you get so much energy and aspiration from?
- I come to the games because our guys need support and result of the team is important.
Coming after work to the stadium and support your colleagues – is a hobby, professional duty or your “corporate contribution”?
- It’s fun for me and my colleagues. We come together to watch the game, so then a few more days to experience memorable moments. Of course, this is a hobby and we are pleased that this helps our team and amuses other funs.
Are you organizing the team yourself or your colleagues themselves are eager to participate in corporate tournaments.
- We are constantly participating in such tournaments. And without initiative of our colleagues, I would not be able to gather them all. The main thing is that they wish to lead active life style.
What sports your colleagues prefer to play? What do you like most and would you like to participate in any sport events?
- In addition to football and basketball many go to gym. Ah, yes the last Karting tournament was very nice. There are only not enough tournaments where girls can take part too.
When hiring people, do you take into account the sport advantages of potential candidates?
- It’s not the main criteria for our candidates, however sport hobbies unite personnel. If you play football – it’s an advantage. For many of us (over 30 in the company) sport helps to team up together, but it would not impact on my choice, as we consider first professional skills for a job.
How does your company like the tournament organized by SEM? Is it easy to obtain a financial approval for workers to take part in the corporate tournaments?
- Yes, we like the tournaments organized by SEM! We always try to participate in all Sport Events and even if our company is not sponsoring some of them, our colleagues are ready to contribute themselves for the games. Let’s just say that for the company taking part is more important than win, but for our players – opposite! So we try to make sure that everyone is pleased.
