Tallinn Super Cup Final - JK Tondi vs Kopli City, 7-2

News added: 04/15/2014 05:59

JK Tondi secured another piece of silverware with a 7-2 defeat of Kopli City in the SEM Tallinn Futsal Super Cup Final.

Tondi had already won the Grandliiga title and cup, winning the latter on penalties against Kopli, and took the honours here with a clinical display. The Futsal was fast and frenetic from the off, with both sides playing at a high tempo and creating a number of chances.

The game was finely balanced until the 14th minute, when Tondi broke the deadlock via an Andrei Tsurikov free kick, and it proved to be the game’s decisive moment as they stormed into a 4-0 half time lead. Two more goals followed in the second half to make it 6-0 before Kopli pulled a consolation goal back. Tondi restored their 6-goal cushion soon after before Kopli managed a second consolation in a match that had effectively been put to bed before half time.
